Nature of the Blue Mountains is the inspiration for my work. This semi-abstract painting depicts Australian native banksia and a black cockatoo. Musicality is evoked by line, colour and overlaying rhythmic forms. There is a joyful wonder in Kate’s playful nature series of Australian Flora and birdlife.
