Rhythm Landscape #43

Rhythm Landscape #43 is a piece inspired by the shifting light and natural movement of the Australian bush.

I use a mix of acrylic and oil stick on canvas to create a heavily layered, tactile surface. I wanted to focus on the contrast between the sharp, vertical lines of the tree trunks and the softer, sun-warmed hills in the background, anchored by a subtle hint of pink in the sky. It's a balanced, contemporary look at the landscape that brings a calm, grounding energy into a room.

The artwork is finished in a minimalist Tasmanian oak float frame, which complements the warm, organic tones of the canvas and arrives ready to hang.
