Nature of the Blue Mountains is the inspiration for my work. This semi-abstract piece depicts Australian native banksia and native silver eye finches. Musicality is evoked by line, colour, and overlaying rhythmic forms.
There is a sense of joyful wonder in Kate’s playful nature series of banksia.
